Kiawah Island Golf Resort has five challenging golf courses that are unmatched and set in a beautiful natural setting.  Legendary designers Pete Dye, Tom Fazio, Gary Player, Jack Nicklaus and Clyde Johnston have created five unique designs for golfers of all skills, The Ocean Course, Osprey Point, Cougar Point, Turtle Point and Oak Point respectively.

The Ocean Course

The Ocean Course hosted the 2012 & 2021 PGA Championships. The best players in the world took on the nation's toughest course. The world watched as Rory McIlroy lapped the field with an 8 shot victory in 2012. In 2021 Phil Mickelson won down the stretch to become the oldest champion in PGA Championship history. The Ocean Course is only the fourth course to host each of the PGA of America's major championships; the PGA Championship, Sr. PGA Championship, Ryder Cup and Professional National Championship. READ

Osprey Point

Osprey Point is  a masterpiece in play-ability and variety.  Featuring four large natural lagoons, fingers of saltwater marshes and dense maritime forests, the Tom Fazio design offers a wide variety of memorable holes, each presenting its own unique challenges and beauty.  Seaside friendly paspalum grass is on all fairways and greens. READ MORE>>.

Cougar Point 

Cougar Point has one of the most dramatic vistas on Kiawah Island overlooking the Kiawah River on the front nine. Turtle Point

Turtle Point is one of Jack Nicklaus' early designs and has hosted the Carolinas Golf Association major championships. Turtle Point features narrow fairway corridors, small greens, strategically placed water hazards, and three breathtaking holes parallel to the Atlantic Ocean. READ MORE>>.

Oak Point 

Oak Point is adjacent to the Kiawah River and Haulover Creek, just off the island.  Oak Point by Clyde Johnston offers undulating fairways, challenging greens and plenty of wildlife. All fairways and greens have the seaside friendly paspalum grass. READ MORE>>.

 

GOLF BLITZES - Join other Governor's Club members in weekly member play for men on Wednesdays, and ladies (either for 9 or 18 holes) on Tuesdays. The blitzes are a good way to meet other members and enjoy the camaraderie in fun competitions, rotating golf courses weekly.
